Poster: better together

Hi European people!!
This week we did our last work of EUNI.
We had to do a poster for a contest about Eurpean day. We had to do something related with rigths, so we do a poster with a picture of a tree with two birds and a cage with a open door. This represents that we are free to do whatever we want and that we all have some rights.
We think that the picture is original and that it will attract people to read more and so we all be more aware of our rights as european citicenship. At the same time  we think it is easy to understand.
We hope that thanks to this people will enjoy at the same time we learn something.
The slogan is in three different languages:
           -Better together
           -Hobeto elkarrekin
           -Todos juntos

Here you have our poster!

Here you have alink to a  website to read your european rights.
Here you have another website with rights but in Basque
And finally in Spanish.
We hope you liked it!!!

Irish people in Donosti

Last week, after not seeing them in three weeks they finally came to San Sebastian.
We were very exited to receive them but we were also very nervous because we wanted to see them again and have even more fun that when we were there.
They arrived at five in the afternoon and after saying hello to them we went all together to "haizearen orrazia". It is a typical place next to the beach with some monuments. From there they coulld see the whole beach and also the irland. They said they liked it a lot.
Next day we went to visit the other beaches and the port. The weather was sunny but they were very happy because in Ireland never it is as hot as that day. we had supper all together and then we went home.
On Saturday, we went to beach the Irish people had a bath. We thought they were crazy because it was not very hot but they told us that for them it was hot. in the afternoon we went shooping and after having dinner we went partying because they told us that in Ireland it was not easy to go clubing, so we went partying.
It was not very funny  for us because we had to look after them but for them it was the best night of their life or at least they said so.
We spent all the Sunday on the beach.
On Monday, we went to school and on the afternoon we prepared the supper fopr all of us in a "sociedad" and the Irish went to thecentre to buy some souvenirs for their family.
The supper was fantastic and we had a lot of fun.
As a whoile it was an amazing esperience to repoeat. We loved the Irish people and we miss them a lot, but we hope they will retun someday.

Consumerism

Before holidays, we did a project about consumerism. It was about consumerism but more about young consumerism. We think that our project helped us to make us aware of how much we consume and how the consumerism affects us because for example there are some illnesses.
We really liked it. Here you have a link to our blog: https://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=828477270810643481#overview/src=dashboard

Easter holidays

In Easter holidays, we met and watched a film together.
This film was called Twilight.
We watched it in English and we were able to understand it. We felt very proud of ourselves.

We liked the movie. Although it can be a little bit fantastic we liked the love story between the main characters.
People say that the film is bad but we do not agree and we think that the actors are good.
The only thing we did not like was that some scenes were too dramatic and overacted.

Ireland

Two weeks ago we went to Ireland on an exchange.
It was an amazing opportunity to get to know a different culture and habits.
We arrived there the 20th march and returned the 25th.
When we arrived there it was really really cold!!! The school bus came to pick us up to the airport. Then, after an hour in the bus, we arrived to the school and get to know our exchanges. We were really nervous so in the first minutes the situation was very strange.
We had 5 days of fun all together. We did a lot of different activities; such as, go to Dublin, shopping, bowling, go to museums and so on.
Here you have some pictures so you can see our funny days in Ireland:

This picture was taken in the airport the first day.

This is the bus which took us up to the school from the Dublin airport, we were very nervous.
This was the first day in the hall of the school a couple of minutes after we arrived.
This was one of the activities we did, typical Irish dancing.
One night we went bowling in Mullingar.
This is the last day when we said goodbye to our exchanges.

This was such an amazing experience that when we were coming back we could only think about going back there again.

FAIR TRADE

This last days we have had two lessons with some people who where involved in Emaus fundation.

In the first lesson they give us, they explained through a power point all the things we needed to know about Emaus, such us what is it, who are they, what they do, and so on. The Emaus fundation is related to fair trade and they talked us about it also in the first lesson.

Fair trade is an alternative to conventional trade and is based on cooperation between producers and consumers. It offers producers a better deal and in this  way, this allows them the opportunity to improve their lives and to plan their future.
Fair trade offers consumers an effective way to reduce poverty. When a product has the Fair Trade mark means that the producers and traders have met Fair trade standards.
There are a lot of products of Fair Trade, such as tea, coffee, fresh fruits and nuts. There are also flowers and plants, sports balls and seed cotton.

The second day, last Friday, we had a different type of lesson. We did a type of interview to a woman of India who worked in the Emaus fundation. It was a
